ورشة عمل تشاركية حول تطوير الخطة التنفيذية للاستراتيجية الوطنية للمرأة في الأردن (2020 – 2025) لعدد من شركات القطاع الخاص

عقدت اللجنة الوطنية الأردنية لشؤون المرأة بالتعاون مع هيئة الأمم المتحدة للمرأة ورشة عمل تشاركية بهدف التعريف بالاستراتيجية الوطنية للمرأة في الأردن 2020-2025 ومدى تقاطعها مع مجالات العمل المختلفة للشركاء مع 25 شركة من القطاع الخاص، والموقعة على المبادئ العالمية المعنية بتمكين المرأة.
جاءت هذه الورشة ضمن عدة ورشات عمل تم عقدها في الفترة الماضية مع القطاع الحكومي والخاص والمجتمع المدني لأهمية الشراكة بين القطاعين العام والخاص في تعزيز النمو الاقتصادي الوطني من خلال تمكين النساء والفتيات من الحصول على فرص متساوية للمشاركة والقيادة في سوق العمل، وخلق بيئة عمل خالية من التمييز المبني على أساس الجنس، وتسهيل الوصول للموارد المالية لتأسيس الأعمال الخاصة بهن.
كما هدفت ورشة العمل الى تقديم الدعم الفني اللازم لتحديد المبادرات والمشاريع الحالية التي تساهم في تحقيق نتائج ومخرجات الاستراتيجية الوطنية للمرأة في الأردن 2020-2025. وذلك في إطار استكمال التنسيق والعمل التشاركي بين شؤون المرأة والجهات المعنية بإعداد الخطة التنفيذية للاستراتيجية التي تعتبر خارطة طريق وطنية لتحقيق المساواة بين الجنسين وتمكين النساء والفتيات في الأردن، ومن خلالها يتم توجيه التمويل الحكومي والدولي لتحقيق الأولويات الوطنية في هذا الإطار.
تنوعت المؤسسات المشاركة وشملت غرفة تجارة الأردن وشركات خاصة من عدة قطاعات من ضمنهم قطاع البنوك والبورصة وعدة جهات ممولة ومانحه، وقطاع الاتصالات وتكنولوجيا المعلومات، وقطاع التعليم والتدريب المهني والتقني، وقطاع السياحة والخدمات الفندقية وغيرهم.
كما تجدر الإشارة إلى أن اللجنة الوطنية الأردنية لشؤون المرأة تعمل على تطوير الخطة التنفيذية للاستراتيجية بإشراف اللجنة الوزارية لتمكين المرأة وبالتعاون مع وزارة التخطيط والتعاون الدولي، وبدعم فني من هيئة الأمم المتحدة للمرأة.
Participatory Workshop on Developing the Implementation Plan of the National Strategy for Women in Jordan (2020-2025)
For Private sector signatory companies on the Women's Empowerment Principles (WEPs)
The Jordan National Commission for Women (JNCW), in cooperation with UN Women, held a participatory workshop with 25 private sector companies that are signatories to the Women's Empowerment Principles (WEPs), believing in the importance of public-private partnership in promoting national economic growth by enabling women and girls to have equal opportunities to participate and lead in the labour market, creating a work environment free of gender-based discrimination, and facilitating access to financial resources to start their own businesses.
Participating institutions were diverse, which included the Jordan Chamber of Commerce, the Amman Stock Exchange and private sector companies that varied in sectors such as the banking and finance sector, the communications and information technology sector, the vocational, education and training sector, as well as the tourism and hotel services sector among others.
This workshop is a part of a series of several workshops that were conducted with the government, private sector, and civil society organizations, with the aim of introducing the National Strategy for Women in Jordan 2020-2025 and identifying the extent to which it intersects with the various fields of work of the different partners and stakeholders. In addition, the session provided the necessary technical assistance to identify the current initiatives and projects that contribute to achieving the Strategy’s outcomes and outputs within the framework of completing the coordination and participatory work between the JNCW and key stakeholders, and also focused on developing the strategic implementation plan for the strategy, national roadmap for achieving Gender Equality and Women Empowerment (GEWE) in Jordan, through which the government and international funding will be directed to achieve the national priorities within this framework.
The JNCW indicates that the process of designing the development plan for the strategy is being carried out under the supervision of the Inter-Ministerial Committee for Women, in cooperation with the Ministry of Planning and International Cooperation (MOPIC), and with the support of UN Women through providing technical assistance and support to partners and stakeholders, that is being carried out by the gender advisor and strategic planning in coordination with the working group of the JNCW.
